VD-RR-XX Bypass Relief Rings

Description

The VD-RR-XX inlet bypass relief adapter ring is designed to limit diffuser noises by maintaining inlet static pressure. With the diffuser open at the zero bypass point, the geometry is such that the rated amount of air flows into the room and no air is bypassed. As the diffuser closes, less air enters the room and more air is bypassed. With the diffuser fully closed, all air is bypassed into the ceiling plenum. The VD-RR-XX should be used with non-ducted, above ceiling, open returns. To install, slide ring over diffuser neck, and screw down mounting arms into the collar.
